The 8590海洋之神官网 Student Government Association (SGA) seeks to equitably support and improve the student experience through advocacy, community collaboration, and transparent communication. We strive to engage, represent, and serve our student body at every level of our work.

SGA是 your voice on campus! We are a student-led office of the College that coordinates and finances over 50 student clubs and organizations. The SGA also organizes and oversees campus-wide service projects, environmental initiatives, advocacy events, and a variety of student services.
检讨委员会 is the steering committee of the SGA and acts as the liaison among the branches of 政府. The President, Vice President, Parliamentarian, Financial Controller, Speaker of the Senate, and Honor Board Chair sit on the Review Board.
执行委员会 is comprised of all SGA student employees, who work together across their specialties to address student concerns, host events, and pursue initiatives that will improve every sector of campus life. 执行委员会 carries out the majority of day-to-day SGA functionality and works toward long-term campus improvement. 律政司司长 DIversity and Inclusion, Secretary of Student Life, Secretary of Environment, Secretary of Service and Community Relations, Secretary of 海洋之神590网址, and Director of Communications and Marketing comprise the Executive Board.

From investments in a wakeboard and waterski boat to investing in new furniture for the library terrace, retrofitting water fountains to fit refillable bottles, and renovating campus buildings, the SGA makes strategic investments into student life on campus.

安全的旅程 is a student-run program that provides free, safe transportation to Washington College students on campus and throughout Chestertown.
目的
The 安全的旅程 program at 8590海洋之神官网 is a free and relatively confidential service for students run by your fellow peers. Every night 安全的旅程 provides students with a safe alternative way to get back to campus without having to walk or drive 自己. 安全的旅程 protects 8590海洋之神官网 students from potential physical or verbal harassment from non-students. The program has also shown a reduction in the complaints from the town, since students are no longer trespassing on private property as they travel through Chestertown. This program has facilitated a more cordial relationship between the college and the town as it continues to grow.

安全的旅程 was founded in 2006 to provide a safe and relatively confidential transportation system for students Thursday through Saturday. In 2013, 安全的旅程 and the Shoremen Shuttle merged, resulting in the expansion of 安全的旅程’s hours to every day of the 周.
自行车分享 gives students FREE access to bicycles while the school year is in session. The program is currently undergoing an overhaul, but you can contact the Secretary of the Environment, Mel Tuerk, at (电子邮件保护) to reserve a bike or ask more about the program.
